At the World Hotel we have 'themed' our rooms and created a unique ambience in each to reflect the different cultures the world over 'A World Cruise in one Hotel'.
After travelling on the liners for many years, we have collected a large amount of memorabilia from all over the world, many of which you will see dotted around the hotel and in the rooms too. If you're interested in where something came from then just ask, theres probably a story there somewhere.
The rooms consist of: 'The Venetian', 'Tokyo', 'Cape Town', 'The World Suite', 'Mombasa', 'The Balmoral', 'Phuket', 'Osaka', 'Wedgwood', 'Dakar', 'Yokohama'.
All our bedrooms are fully en-suite with double glazing, central heating, colour TV, hair dryer, safe and hospitality tray with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and shortbread.
We provide guests with fluffy white bath sheets, towels, shower gel and shampoo, with other toiletries available on request.
All rooms are serviced daily unless requested otherwise, and should you require the use of an iron and ironing board one is available from reception.
